ABOUT ME

BIOGRAPHY

  • I was born on October 27th 1981 in Istanbul.
  • Soccer has always been a great passion in my life.
  • I started my soccer days, when I was 13, playing for Kartalspor youth team.
  • I have played for all segments of Kartalspor youth teams, including: junior team, star team, youth team and amateur team.
  • Our achievements at Kartalspor youth teams include Turkish Championship, Istanbul Championship and many more.
  • I started my professional career at Kartalspor soccer team in the 2000-2001 season.
  • I was first called to the Turkish Olympic National Team in 2001.
  • As the Turkish Olympic National Team we placed 4 in the Mediterranean Games. The performance and stamina that I showed in this tournament opened my doors to the U21 National Team.
  • While playing for Kartalspor in the 2001-2001 season, I was approached by Fenerbace S.C. to play for them in the 2002-2003 season, and thus my Fenerbahce S.C. professional career had been launched. My first game with Fenerbahce was a prep game against TSV Dorfen. My first official game was against Samsunspor on April 26th 2003.
  • I was honored with being a part of the Turkish National Team, for the first time playing Belgium on April 28th 2004.
  • Fulfilling my childhood dream, I have engaged my professional career playing at Fenerbahce S.C.
